Patients know that osteopathy is successful for these major disorders, and they are looking for therapists who are able to help them.

This course is intended for osteopaths who want to improve their initial training, but also for any experienced therapists wishing to update their skills for the management of functional disorders related to the genitourinary sphere.

The urogenital sphere is complex, it requires great finesse in palpation and requires solid anatomical knowledge. It is mostly the clinical aspect and the practice that will be developed, in order to establish a manual diagnosis based on palpation, listening and clinical symptoms, leading to a treatment protocol.

OB UROGENITAL MANIPULATIONS (Experienced therapists)

2

UROGENITAL MANIPULATIONS part 2

Treatment of urinary tract dysfunction: supplements Kidneys

 Kidneys fixations/manipulation

 The right kidney and its colonic relations

 The left kidney and its genital relations

 Renal lithiasis and renal colic

 Relationship between kidney fixation, low back pain and lumbar plexus nervesBladder and ureter manipulation (internal approach)

 Identification/palpation

 Internal techniques: urethra
 bladder trigone  bladder body

 The ureterovesical junction

 Osteopathic approach of CystalgiaTreatment protocol for uterine dysfunctionsGroup lab for:

 External manual investigations: general/local listening, viscoelastic tests, palpation, ligament tests

 Internal manual diagnosis of the various Uterine static/dynamic disorders  Retroversion Hyper-anteversion  Lateroversion
 Retroposition
 Lateroposition
 Prolapses

 Treatment protocol:

 External techniques (circulatory maneuvers, round ligaments, broadligament, pubovesical ligaments, sacro-recto-genito-pubic ligaments)

 Internal techniques (detorsion of vascular pedicles, vesicouterine ligaments, parameters, uterosacral ligaments)

 Manipulation of the different types of fixations

OB UROGENITAL MANIPULATIONS (Experienced therapists)

3

Osteopathic approach to frequent female pathologies Pain syndromes

 Dysmenorrhea

 Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS)

 Osteopathic approach of neuralgia Nerve biomechanics
 Nerve palpation/identification  Neural manipulation

 Neuralgia related to the urogenital sphere:  Sciatic neuralgia Pudendal neuralgia  Obturator neuralgia  Cluneal neuralgia

 Persistent non-mechanical Coccydynia

 Dyspareunia (superficial/deep)Fertility disorders

 Osteopathic treatment protocol for infertility

 Manipulation of fallopian tubes, ovaries and tubo-ovarian dysfunctionsPregnancy symptoms and pain

 Vascular manipulation of the uterus

 The gravid uterus modification and manipulation

 Adaptation of the abdominopelvic viscera to pregnancy

 Treatment and advice for the aftermath of childbirth

["post-30387","courses","type-courses","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry
["GET
