{"id":43561,"date":"2024-04-04T11:24:49","date_gmt":"2024-04-04T09:24:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pro-osteo.com\/?post_type=courses&#038;p=43561"},"modified":"2026-09-08T09:17:44","modified_gmt":"2026-09-08T07:17:44","slug":"fellowship-en-sat-with-pau-dalmau-do","status":"publish","type":"courses","link":"https:\/\/pro-osteo.com\/en\/courses\/fellowship-en-sat-with-pau-dalmau-do\/","title":{"rendered":"Specific Adjustment Technique (SAT) with Paul Dalmau DO"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SAT is a therapeutic approach which is suitable in certain somatic dysfunctions, called positional lesions, of traumatic origin and very frequently in situations of whiplash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These dysfunctions are usually located in atypical areas of the spine (high cervical and pelvis) and cause a general disorder in the health of the person, so their resolution is of great complexity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through a deep reflection and contact with the tissue of the patient that allows identifying the health potential of the person, the SAT approach achieves tissue normalization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The culminating point of the approach is a highly specific manoeuvre, which has an effect on the person at global level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Objectives<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through the learning process, the osteopath will acquire:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The ability to feel in which level is the injury and what does the person need to recover his health potential.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A highly specific technical ability to resolve somatic dysfunction.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The combination of both skills is key. When the gesture stops being a simple technique and becomes an approach loaded with a great therapeutic awareness, it translates into important changes in the different spheres of the person&#8217;s health.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Duration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3 days. Following which my students are ready to apply the SAT approach in their consultation with all guarantees.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">An exclusive and personalized training, based on practice<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Personalized:<\/strong>&nbsp;Close and personalized support is essential to get the assistants to carry out a reflective learning process that allows them to connect with the patient&#8217;s tissue and, at the same time, be able to perform a highly specific manoeuvre to resolve the dysfunction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Exclusive:<\/strong>&nbsp;I always give trainings to very small groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Practice:<\/strong>&nbsp;The methodology is mostly practical, reinforcing palpatory, exploration and reflection skills.
