Webinar theory:
Practical course in Nice, France
Set in the inspiring Mediterranean atmosphere of Nice, this advanced seminar offers a refined and clinically grounded exploration of the Pelvic Brain as a central regulatory system in women’s health.
Moving beyond a purely structural model, this program integrates neuroendocrinology, vascular dynamics, visceral mobility and autonomic regulation within the framework of the Brain Gut Pelvis axis. The pelvic brain is presented as a dynamic regulatory hub in constant dialogue with the cranial and abdominal brains, shaping hormonal balance, pain perception, fertility and emotional resilience.
The seminar draws upon the clinical and theoretical framework presented in Nathalie Camirand’s reference book,
Cerveau pelvien – Axe cerveau intestin pelvis:
An Integrative Osteopathic Approach to Urogynaecological Dysfunctions and Pathologies,
published by Elsevier and translated into German.
Participants will deepen their clinical reasoning while acquiring precise and immediately applicable manual strategies.
No internal techniques will be taught during this course.
The seminar explores:
• The anatomical and functional architecture of the pelvic brain
• Neuroendocrine and autonomic regulation within the Brain Gut Pelvis axis
• Gender specific stress responses and their impact on pelvic function
• The microbiota and the estrobolome in hormonal modulation
• The neurovascular organization of the pelvic brain
• Ovarian physiology and the neurohormonal regulation of the menstrual cycle
Theory based on the recent studies and clinical applications include dysmenorrhea, fibroids, endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain, painful bladder syndrome, ovarian cysts, amenorrhea, premenstrual syndrome, subfertility, perimenopause and menopause.
The practical training emphasizes refined palpatory skills and integrative treatment strategies:
• Advanced postural and seated pelvic assessment
• Sacral, coccygeal and dural relationships
• Visceral mobility and motility of uterus and ovaries
• External uterine and ovarian techniques
• Pelvic floor and deep myofascial integration. •Iliac, coccyx and pubic symphysis intra-osseus lesions
• Arterial approaches including renal, ovarian, iliac and femoral vessels
• Diaphragmatic and visceral relationships including liver, spleen, kidneys and small intestine
• Lymphatic and peritoneal drainage strategies
• Lumbar plexus integration and techniques including iliohypogastric, ilioinguinal, lateral femoral cutaneous, genitofemoral and obturator nerves
• Sacral plexus integration and techniques including sciatic, pudendal and cluneal nerves, including the pelvitrochanteric musculature
• Hypogastric plexus balancing techniques and autonomic harmonization via the vagal nerve
