The Wisdom and Hours of the Heart
Heart Rate Variability as a tool to work with the Autonomic Nervous System
This course will open you new possibilities to view into the action of the Autonomic Nervous system and body rhythms using Heart Rate Variability and to use this knowledge in your daily patient work and activity .
It will link the most recent results of Chronobiology, Sleep Research, Stress- and Recreation research with new findings about the Autonomic Nervous System and will totally change your ability to interact with this important control system of our body!
You will get tools to understand the interaction of different organs of the body during their walk through the hours of the day.
Using these tools you can help your patients to understand the wisdom of their body showing them body reactions they never realized before.

Maximilian Moser, PhD, Professor for Physiology (Medical University of Graz, Austria and Head of Human Research Institute, Weiz, Austria).
Maximilian Moser is a physiologist, and chronobiologist and has 30 years of experience with research in biological rhythms and the autonomic nervous system (stress, sleep, salutogenesis). After studying biology and medicine in Graz and a guest professorship at Biomedical Engineering at the University of Virginia (USA) he led a series of space medical experiments and participated for 10 years in measuring health in cosmonauts on board the space station MIR („peace“). During this time, very precise and reliable methods to measure heart rhythm flexibility (heart rate variability) were developed. His team was also involved in clinical research in the fields of cardiology, psychiatry, sleep and relaxation research. Later, the knowledge about the importance of vagal activity and autonomic balance was applied in several large projects of occupational health, reducing the accidents of construction workers in Austria by 30% („BAUFit“) and improving health indicators in Austrian public clinics.
One of the revolutionary discoveries of his team was the direct visualization of the human time organism in the so-called ChronoCardiogram. It turned out, that this time structure of our body is similar complex as the space structure of our anatomy and has a strong relation to human health and diseases.
During the last two decades, Moser is teaching the application of his method in different fields, for MDs, psychologists, osteopaths and therapists, together with Medical societies and the German and Austrian Academy for Acupuncture.
„The cutting-edge medicine of the future will be prevention and salutogenesis. This will change our entire medical system and education to the better.“
