Basic Metabolism, Immunology and integrative endocrinology: Done with the collaboration of Dr Felix Ambros and given by Monika Ebner MSc., DO
✓ Primary and secondary lymphatic systems: bone marrow, lymph vessels and lymph, spleen and thymus. Defense mechanisms: specific and non-specific defense, cellular and humoral components, course of an immune response, complement system, interleukins.
✓ Interpretation of bloodwork for functional problems. The difference between pathology and dysfunction – that can be detected early on – will be outlined. The main topics will be red and white blood analysis with iron metabolism, lipid metabolism and endocrine analyses for all glands and vitamin D.
As a practical part we will go through a few examples and discuss the possible symptoms the patients may present.
