Description
Still Technique is a modern, American interpretation of what we know about Andrew Taylor Still’s manipulative methods. It is based on the descriptions of his techniques written by him & described by early osteopaths who knew him, studied under him & worked with him.
A cross between structural & functional techniques, it is a quick, effective yet gentle osteopathic manipulative technique (OMT). It is applicable to every area of the body & suitable for a wide range of patients. It is also a great alternative to high velocity thrust techniques (HVT), when HVT is inappropriate or ineffective.
This webinar is an introduction to the a two-day course which will introduce you to the background, theory & application of Still Technique. Over the two days, you will get a chance to learn & practice Still Techniques for the spine, pelvis & extremities.
Jonathan Edis is an osteopath, lecturer, & clinical tutor at University College of Osteopathy (formerly the British School of Osteopathy) in London, UK. He discovered Still Technique in 2004. After using it extensively in clinical practice, he has been delivering courses on it in the UK & Europe since 2010. He is looking forward to returning to Panta Rhei after the enforced break of the pandemic.
The course is planned for september 6-7, 2024.
